A driver from Witham has been disqualified for 16 months after failing to stop and drink driving.
Stuart Porter, 38, of Poplar Close, was arrested at 9.15pm on July 7 in Albert Road.
After a court appearance he was disqualified, ordered to complete 120 hours unpaid work, pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge for drink driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
A total of 205 people were arrested during the Drink Safe Drive Sober campaign by Essex Police, which highlighted how alcohol and drugs can impair your reactions when driving.
