BILLY Knott admits Concord Rangers should have won at Billericay Town after they shipped an injury-time equaliser to draw.
Alex Wall’s goal was cancelled out by a late strike from substitute Moses Emmanuel.
But Canvey Island based Knott says it could be a good point at the end of the season.
“It was a big game tonight and we know they will be up there at the end of the season,” said the Concord skipper. “It’s a shame we couldn’t hold on and we have our own targets but we should have seen it out.
“They were always going to come onto us and they got a good goal at the end. We have a good honest bunch of lads but I backed us to work hard and do well and we did in this game.
“Billericay will be up there and you could see that tonight. We rode our luck at times but a point at their place isn’t bad.
“We have targets for the next month and we will work hard to achieve them.”
