A "sexy superstore" has received permission to sell adult movies inside the premises in a big boost to the business.
Pulse and Cocktails, located just off the A12 at Rivenhall, had its proposals unanimously approved by Braintree Council's licensing committee on Wednesday (July 18) evening.
The store, which is the company's 21st licensed adult shop across the country, will now be able to stock a wider range of adult toys and open its DVD section.
A licence is needed for a sex establishment in order to sell adult rated DVDs as well as play trailers for the films on a screen in store.
A spokesman for Pulse and Cocktails said: "The new store will be fully stocked with the new exciting products and DVD’s from Monday, July 23, open 7 days, welcoming customers new and old.
"Pulse and Cocktails are completely unique in the UK and bring a whole new experience to sexy shopping further ensuring the companies motto - couples who play together stay together."
