A football club's family fun day raised more than £400 to help a little girl who was born without a heartbeat.
Dunmow Rhodes Football Club hosted Amber's Fun Day in aid of Amber Regan, four, who has suffered from a series of serious health problems since birth.
The money will be used to fund daily physiotherapy and sensory play therapy in order to give the youngster, who had 198 NHS appointments last year, the best quality of life possible.
Playing under the name Amber's United, a team of challengers took on the Dunmow Rhodes Sunday team, with a penalty shootout being needed to separate the teams.
A spokesman for Dunmow Rhodes Football Club said: "There were plenty of substitutions during the game and water supplies.
"The second half was very enjoyable, with Ambers United making Dunmow Rhodes work hard for their goal.
"It came via a neat finish from Christian Roles to make the final score 1-1.
"The event carried on till 4pm with stalls, sideshows, raffles, cake sales and more."
A total of £420 was raised at Amber's Fun Day
