A MAJOR leak which is pumping water onto the A120 is set to be repaired on Thursday night.
Water was first seen coming from undergrowth near The Dolphin pub, along the busy road near Bradwell, late last week.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place to allow workers to fix the problem overnight on Thursday.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said: “We have located a leak near The Dolphin pub on the A120 between Braintree and Colchester.
"Our team is due to complete the repair work on Thursday night, working overnight to minimise any disruption caused to residents or road users.
"To allow our team to complete this repair safely, a traffic light management system will be put in place whilst the repair is completed.
"We’re sorry for any disruption this work causes and we are working hard to complete the work as quickly as we possibly can."
