A BRAND new scheme which will help adults with learning difficulties remain in their community has been launched.
The supported living service, run by Provide, means people won't have to move away from their families.
Two homes in Coggeshall Road, Braintree, will be used by the community organisation to support people as part of the service.
Stephanie Hampton, a supported living manager at Provide, said: "At our Coggeshall Road houses, we will strive to give individuals the support they need, teach them new skills and enhance old ones to promote their independence and community inclusion.
"It is perfectly placed within the Braintree area because it's close to amenities, on a bus route to town and the local shopping village as well as colleges.
"I've been supporting people for 25 years within supported living services and can’t wait to be part of this amazing new opportunity for eight very lucky people."
