A teenage fashionista had some help from two sprightly 90-year-olds when showing off her latest creations.

During her work experience placement at Great Bradfords House, in Coggeshall Road, Honywood School pupil Lily Rose was challenged to design outfits for two of the home's residents using only dustbin bags.

Lily worked her magic and developed the outfits, which were modelled by Tom Rackley, 91, and Margaret Haymer, 90.

Stacey Murr, administration assistant for Abbeyfield Braintree Bocking and Felsted Society, which runs Great Bradfords House, said: "Lily rose to that challenge brilliantly and our residents at Great Bradfords House thoroughly enjoyed watching her work her magic.

"Here at Abbeyfield Braintree Bocking and Felsted Society Limited we pride ourselves on providing fun and lively activities for our residents together with the attitude that age should never being a barrier on what you can achieve.

"I hope I’m having as much fun when I’m in my 90s."
