A wanted man handed himself into police after an assault in Witham.
Daniel Stephens, 22, handed himself in to a police station yesterday and has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
The assault occurred on Newland Street on Saturday, June 16, just before 1.30am. A man in his 20s was left with serious injuries.
Two 17-year-old boys, who were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, have been released on bail until Sunday, July 8.
A 17-year-old boy, 19-year old man, 20-year-old man and a 28-year old man, all arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, have also been released on bail until Sunday, July 8.
A 16-year-old boy, also arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, has been released on bail until Friday, July 13.
Another man, aged 22, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
He has since been released on bail until Sunday, July 15.
