This year Coggeshall’s gardeners are inviting people to share in the magic of ponds, pools and puddles.

The Coggeshall open gardens event is the perfect opportunity for visitors to be able to explore woodland gardens, riverside gardens, tiny gardens and formal gardens.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy Coggeshall’s legendary afternoon tea by the river before collecting bargains to take home from a range of plant stalls.

Younger visitors will find plenty of watery fun on offer too making it a perfect afternoon for the whole family.

Three of the gardens are based in the centre of Coggeshall while the fourth is a short walk away along West Street.

Two more gardens will be on show near Monkwell where afternoon tea will be on offer.

A further ten minute walk along Abbey Lane will take you past St Nicholas Chapel towards The Abbey and The Mill.

The community bus will be available for the one mile journey to Scrips with stops at allotments on the way.

Tickets are £5 per person and under 12 children are free. Tickets can also be bought in advance from the Chapel Inn and on the day in the Market Square.

It will take place on Sunday, June 3 from 2pm until 6pm.
