A charity biking event raised more than £1,000 for a veterans’ charity.
Bikers Respect All Veterans Equally (Brave) held its annual Bomb Run on April 14.
The fundraising group of bikers support small veteran charities and individuals.
Its annual bike run saw hundreds turn out to support the group’s worthy cause.
It is run by Chris Baker, a veteran left paralysed after being hit with an improvised explosive device while serving with the Royal Engineers in Iraq in 2005.
He said: “Brave’s Bomb Run was and outstanding success, the weather was great and everyone was smiling.
“We raised a brilliant amount for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
“I’d like to send my thanks to all the riders who made it such a good day, Coggleshall for showing their support waiting by the roadside waving as we rode through, our marshals who gave us a faultless run and lastly to all my Brave team for all their efforts.
“I can’t wait for Bomb Run 2019 in April.”
The motorbike ride set off from Coggeshall Industrial Estate for a 55-mile journey to Waldegraves Holiday Park.
Trikes, quads and bikes were all welcome for the journey, with a suggested donation of £10 for riders.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, was presented with a cheque for £1,200 at the end of the day by representatives from Brave.
