By-elections for two seats on the district council will take place next month.
The Braintree Council run elections will take place in the Bocking North and Hatfield Peverel and Terling wards on Thursday, May 4.
Councillor Stephanie Paul (Conservative, Bocking North) resigned last month citing increased work commitments.
She was first elected to the council in May 2015, however attended less than half of the full-council meetings after this date.
Councillor Daryn Hufton-Rees (Conservative, Hatfield Peverel and Terling) resigned in February, again citing increased work commitments.
Mr Hufton-Rees was first elected to the council in 2015.
Candidates are set to be announced in the coming weeks.
