A charity has launched its new logo after relocating and hiring a new CEO.

Following the appointment of Hearing Help Essex's CEO, Sophie Biebuyck, the charity has launched its new logo in a bid to reach more people across the county.

A quarter of a million people in Essex have some degree of hearing loss and the charity works to alleviate the isolation and loneliness the condition can bring.

Hearing aid support sessions run across Braintree, Maldon, Chelmsford, and Uttlesford districts as drop-in sessions.

The charity has two outreach workers who run regular information sessions in Braintree, Broomfield, Basildon, Brentwood, and Epping hospitals, and at pop-up venues across Essex.

Individual appointments can be arranged to try assistive equipment, either at the charity’s resource centre in Chelmsford or in homes.

A befriending service is offered to those who have become isolated by hearing loss and is delivered by a trained team of volunteers who can provide a friendly conversation and companionship on a regular basis.
