Plans to find a new home for Braintree Town will be discussed at a public meeting.

Club directors and the first team coaching staff will attend a fans forum at the Ironmongery Direct Stadium, from 7.45pm on Thursday, February 15.

On the agenda is the latest set of plans for the club's relocation, and fans will have an opportunity to scrutinise the proposals and ask any questions.

An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will take place afterwards before things move any further.

The site of Braintree Town’s training facilities and car park has been allocated for homes in the Local Plan, meaning the club needs to find a new home as soon as possible.

The club has requested a meeting with Braintree Council leader Graham Butland to seek his advice and input on the plans.
