Tickets for the return of the fast growing Ladies Day at Chelmsford City Racecourse are now available.

Glitz, glamour and sophistication will once again be the order of the day, set against the backdrop of high quality all-weather racing.

Organisers are still keeping the live music act a secret, but say all will be revealed in due course.

Last year saw early millennium boy band Blue wow the huge crowds at the Great Leighs racecourse.

The fourth annual event will take place on June 21 and will feature the return of Heart Essex DJ Matt Mackay, who will be hitting the decks to keep the party going after the live music has ended.

Jill Turner, commercial manager at Chelmsford City Racecourse, said: “Ladies Day is the centrepiece of our year – it’s the event in to which the staff put the most time and effort, so we’re really committed to ensuring it is a success for all our guests.

“The tickets and packages going on sale is always an exciting moment, so we look forward to what it brings.

“Our hospitality packages, in particular, look set to sell out quickly – so we recommend getting in early to ensure you do not miss out.

“This is the fourth Ladies Day, and we expect the event to grow and grow.

“We have had a small pre-sale period, and this has been utilised by several of our 2017 attendees.

“Added to plans for further music concerts, and events like our Family Fun Day, Beer Festival and more, we hope Chelmsford City Racecourse will truly be the place to be next year.”

Whilst music is a big part of the day, there is also racing from the track as well as races broadcast live from the world famous Royal Ascot.

There are several new packages this year, including gold enclosure and summer garden, while general sale tickets are now on sale.

Tickets start from £32.50 and rise to £54 for the most expensive gold enclosure.
