A RADIO DJ carving a name for herself in the fashion industry is bringing her womenswear to Colchester for one day only.

Kiss FM’s Charlie Hedges believes women should feel fabulous no matter what their size, which is why she launched the family-run Charlie’s Pop Up Boutique.

On September 30, her catwalk-inspired daytime and occasionwear, accessories and shoes will be on sale inside Colchester’s Salon Thirty, where women emerge as a better version of themselves.

Owner Lauren Marchant was inspired after a client began raving about the breakfast host.

She said: “So many of my clients listen to Kiss and we’ve had lots of people, even in their sixties, who listen to her to tiny little ones who are really excited about her coming.

“The pieces are gorgeous, and Charlie’s really pushing that it’s your shape and confidence which matters rather than whether you’re a size six or eight.

“Her whole clothing range will be in the salon, and Charlie will be there to guide people on what suits them so there’s a chance to meet her as well.

“As businesses, both of ours are about building people’s confidence and showing you what works.”Braintree and Witham Times:

Customers will be greeted with Prosecco and nibbles between 10am and 4pm.

The pop-up boutique will be on the middle floor of the Priory Street salon with Lauren’s stylists offering their usual hair and beauty services.

Plus to celebrate approaching its first birthday, Salon Thirty clients have an opportunity to buy a VIP card for special offers and treats throughout the year.

She added: “For women who are going out on the night, it’s perfect, because they can get their makeup, hair and nails done, get their outfits sorted and head straight out.”
