A man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.
A 40-year-old man was sitting in his car outside Toby Carvery, off the B1256, at Notley Cross, Braintree, at about 11.40am on September 7 when he was allegedly approached by a man who attempted to punch him.
A 32-year-old man from Bristol was arrested in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, yesterday, September 12, on suspicion of making threats to kill.
He is in custody for questioning.
