Traffic is queuing on the A12 because of an earlier incident where a vehicle shed its load.
Metal crates fell from the vehicle on the Londonbound carriageway between junction 25, Marks Tey, and junction 24, Kelvedon north.
The incident has been cleared, but traffic is still queuing past junction 29, Ardleigh Crown.
