A GROUP of charitable teenagers raised more than £600 for a mental wellbeing charity.
Members of the National Citizen Service took to the streets of Braintree last week to raise money for Talk Listen Care.
Rebecca Stone, one of the group, said: "As part of our NCS programme, we had to complete a social action project for our community.
"We decided to fundraise and create awareness for the new and upcoming charity Talk Listen Care.
"Talk Listen Care is a charity which provides counselling and emotional support for those in need in the Braintree District. It is affordable and easy to access."
The group raised £645 by completing a half marathon, selling items at the Great Notley Discovery Centre and by holding a bake sale in Braintree's George Yard.
