A RECENTLY created cycling club has organised a charity ride in aid of the air ambulance.
Braintree Velo Cycling Club and Indoor Revolution decided to merge the two clubs to create one cycling club for the whole of Braintree.
To celebrate the creation of the new club, Braintree Velo/IR, members have organised a 50 mile fun ride to raise funds for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 24, with registration opening at Indoor Revolution, in Silks Way, Braintree, from 8am.
The route will be signposted, available on GPS systems and should take no longer than four hours.
All ages and abilities are welcomed, all you need is a helmet and a bicycle, however under 16s must be registered with an adult.
Entrance costs £10 per rider including refreshments.
Registration begins at 8.30am, with the ride starting between 9.30am and 10am.
