STARGAZERS are being given chance to have an close-up look at the Sun.
The latest July Solar Gazing session takes place at Great Notley Country Park on Saturday.
Stargazers can come along any time between midday and 3pm and have a close look at Earth's nearest star.
Sunspots, prominences and flares will be visible through the specialist equipment.
Telescopes will be set up in the field opposite the main building near to the overflow car park.
Viewing is weather dependent and a cloudy sky could make it difficult to see anything. If it is raining the session will be cancelled.
