FIXTURES and fittings will be removed from a former police station.
Between today and Monday the current occupants of the building, members of police staff working on licensed premises administration, will now be working from Braintree Police Station.
Chief Superintendent Ewen Wilson said: "Our officers are active in Witham every day whether on patrol, responding to incidents or engaging with communities.
"The investment we’ve made in mobile technology is keeping police out of buildings and active and visible in Witham and nearby villages.
"Our officers and PCSOs will also be available to listen and talk with residents at our regular drop in sessions and community meetings."
The public front counter at Witham closed in March 2016.
