AN accomplished cellist is performing at the Braintree Museum.
Charles Ellis will be performing works by Basanquet and Bach at the museum, in Manor Street, on Friday from 7.30pm.
Polly Redman, marketing and retail manager at Braintree Museum, said: "The acoustics in the learning for life centre at the museum are amazing and lends itself so well to the sounds of the cello, it really blows you away.
"After his successful duet with guitarist Ian Kelleher last year, we are really looking forward to welcoming Charles back to the Museum and hearing his solo recital."
Tickets cost £12 for adults and £6 for under 16s.
