A POPULAR restaurant chain is set to open a new branch in Braintree.
Bill’s restaurant is advertising on a recruitment website for a manager, assistant manager and head chef at a new opening in the town.
And it is understood that the hugely successful restaurant chain will be opening up a new restaurant at Freeport in the unit formerly occupied by Tutti Tuscan Grille
An opening date has not been revealed by the owners.
The chain has applied for a licence to serve alcohol between 10am and midnight.
There are 75 Bill’s around the country, with the nearest being in Chelmsford.
A Freeport spokesperson said: “Following the closure of Tutti at Freeport Braintree we are currently undertaking strip out works in readiness for letting that particular unit to a new tenant.
"However whilst negotiations are still underway it would be inappropriate to speculate on who a new tenant might be”
Bill's have been approached for comment.
