BRAINTREE’S Mencap group danced non-stop for 24 hours to raise money for a sensory room.
More than 125 members of the group, along with staff members and volunteers joined in the fun last week and raised an estimated £5,000.
Rachel Luckin, general manager of Braintree Mancap, said: “Everyone joined in and helped out as much as they could.
“At one point our hall looked like a scene from Ibiza.
“The final song we danced to was I’m Still Standing by Elton John.”
