PLANS to turn a library into a takeaway cafe have been recommended for approval.
Members of Braintree Council's planning committee will vote on the plans for Silver End Library at a planning meeting next Tuesday.
The former library, which is in the Silver End village envelope and conservation area, would have a pizza oven installed and room for about five tables with chairs.
The number of employees is expected to be two full-time and two part-time, equivalent to three full-time staff.
Members of the public are invited to attended the meeting in Causeway House at 7.15pm.
