A LIBRARY was decked with Christmas trees at a festive networking event.
Witham Library held a Christmas Tree Fest, at which local organisations decorated their own tree.
Lots of business partners bought six-foot trees into the library and used the festive experience to get to know each other.
The library organised the event, aimed to advertise local organisations in a creative way.
Witham councillor Angela Kilmartin decorated two trees at the library, with Sande Croft Brown.
She said: "Sande was a cook at the Witham Luncheon Club and I'm currently chairman.
"The Luncheon Club tree has pictures of members and activities.
"I also chair Witham History Group- old photos as well as talk titles are on this tree, creating lots of interest for Witham residents."
Trees will remain in the library for viewing until 12 days after Christmas Day.
