A CHURCH is hoping to extend its graveyard.
St Mary the Virgin Church, in Great Bardfield, has applied to Braintree Council to change the use of a small patch of land on its grounds for use as a graveyard.
The church, which has its graveyard next to the land, said it is occasionally used as a pony paddock.
