Police investigating the stabbing of a 17 year-old boy in Great Baddow have charged three people.

Officers were called to a property in Sawkins Avenue at around 1.25pm on Sunday, October 30 where the victim was found with serious injuries to his lower body.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. It is believed the attack took place in Duffield Road.

Four people were arrested on Monday, October 31.

Josh Davis, 18, of no fixed abode has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of Class A drugs, possession of Class B or C drugs, GBH and a further offence of possession of an offensive weapon.

Chandler Quirk, 18, of Frances Green in Chelmsford, has been charged with possession of a Class A drug and GBH.

A 17 year-old boy from Braintree has been charged with possession with intent to supply drugs, GBH and possession of a knife.

All three are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, November 2).

A 17 year-old boy arrested on suspicion of GBH has been release on police bail until Sunday, January 1.
