A BURST water main in Rayne has closed off a road through the village.
The water main burst on Monday morning in The Street in Rayne and Anglian Water's engineers worked over two days to repair the water network.
The Street was still closed and water tankers were used to top up the supply and provide water to residents whilst the emergency work is completed.
A bus diversion route was introduced and with services departing from Spring Wood.
Residents have reported not being able to use their showers due to low water pressure.
Three properties were left without water completely and have been provided with alternate supplies.
A spokesman for Anglian Water said: "We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank customers for their continued patience."
