A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital after a crash.
The woman, in her 40s, suffered serious injuries during the incident on Railway Street, Braintree, at the junction with Coggeshall Road.
It happened on Saturday shortly before 8.10pm.
The ambulance service sent an ambulance, ambulance officer, and the hazardous area response team to assist.
At the scene a woman was treated for a head, wrist, and a leg injury before being taken to Broomfield Hospital for further care in a stable condition.
Police are now working to establish the cause of the collision, which involved a silver Ford Transit minibus and the pedestrian, and enquiries are ongoing.
