ELECTRICALS experts have raised £725 for Farleigh Hospice by taking part in the charity's £50 challenge.

Boddingtons Electrical, based in Great Notley, will see their donation going towards improving the lives of those who have been affected by life changing illnesses.

Over the course of twelve weeks, the team at Boddingtons Electrical, a manufacturer and supplier of electrical safety products, have organised numerous fundraising events for the local community and staff.

They needed to turn just one £50 note in to as much money as possible for the charity.

These events included arranging a community barbeque, in-house sweepstakes during the Euros and the Grand National, raffles and auctions.

Senior Coordinator at Boddingtons Electrical in Queenborough Lane, Jenny Aley, said “The Farleigh Hospice £50 challenge gave us the opportunity to come up with some great ideas with a challenge and a bit of a twist.

"This approach added that extra bit of enthusiasm and the variety of ways in which our staff contributed to the task was amazing.

"We can't wait until the next opportunity to support this charity.”
