IT takes a lot to make me put pen to paper, or hit the keyboard, but I just could not let the letter from Francis Moll go without comment.

He says he is having his rights as an EU citizen taken away by 37.4 per cent of the electorate.

But only approximately 35 per cent voted to remain, whilst the remaining 27.6 per cent couldn’t be bothered to go out and vote. The majority who voted did so to leave.

Accept the majority decision and stop whinging, that is democracy.

Whilst I personally voted to leave if the decision had gone the other way, I would have accepted it, as I have done in the past with the results of several other elections If you don’t have majority rule, you end up with a dictatorship.

Does this man have so little confidence in the country, that he thinks we can’t survive without unelected officials in Brussels telling us what to do? Let us all get behind the Government and put The Great back in Britain.
