CAMPAIGNERS against a development of 1,600 homes are still continuing their efforts to get the plans booted out.
The Brook Green application for Rayne, which is yet to be decided by Braintree Council, will ruin the nature-filled Flitch Way, residents have said.
The No To Brook Green protest group, was set up by residents who said the homes would link Braintree and Rayne.
The land was not recommended for approval in the district's draft Local Plan- but residents are still wary.
They will be holding a Rayne Summer Party in August to raise awareness about the campaign.
It will be held on August 7 between noon and 6pm at the Oak Meadow playing fields in Rayne.
There will be live music, a bake-off, dog show, bouncy castles, traditional games and more.
