STUDENTS at New Rickstones Academy were treated to a red carpet reception before being whisked off to their prom.
The academy in Witham held a pre-prom reception on Friday, July 1, where friends and family were invited to watch the students being waved off together.
They went on to the Essex Golf and Country Club in Earls Colne, where they enjoyed music and dancing.
Sandra Fab, who organises the prom every year, said: "The whole thing was supported by teachers and families alike.
"It went really well, they really enjoyed it and had loads of fun."
