CHILDREN at Howbridge Junior School put on their PE kit to help raise money for charity.
More than 350 students from the school took part in the Race for Life event, part of similar runs organised around the country by Cancer Research UK.
This was the second time the school have held the event, and this year the children ran even further than ever before.
All of the money students have collected from sponsorship will go directly to the charity and be put towards research into cancer treatment.
Damon Howlett, Assistant Headteacher at Howlett Primary, said: "The day was amazing such a good atmosphere.
"The best thing was the feeling of community and seeing the children help and support each other and just love doing it.
"The children were superb - they were so determined and showed true grit to cover the three miles."
