STUDENTS saying farewell to their school had their spirits lifted during a fun day.
Year 11 pupils at New Rickstones Academy in Witham had an emotional day as they said goodbye to their teachers.
To celebrate their time at the school the grounds were transformed into a theme park with inflatable games and dodgems.
On the same day the students had a prom reception in the decorated hall before being taken to Essex Golf and Country Club in Earls Colne.
The fun day was held on Friday, July 1.
