Two people have been arrested as part of an operation to tackle drug dealing and gang problems.
Operation Raptor, run by Essex Police, aims to deal with gang-related issues and London drug dealers who come to Essex to sell class A drugs.
An 18-year-old woman from Braintree and an 18-year-old man from Enfield were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Officers stopped the car they were travelling in through Maidenburgh Street, Colchester, at around 1.30pm yesterday, June 28.
Suspected class A drugs were seized and both are in custody for questioning.
