FIRE crews were called to deal with a chemical leak on the A120.
600kg of ammonium nitrate had leaked from a lorry on the eastbound carriage of the A120 between Stansted and Dunmow.
Crews from Newport, Stansted and Great Dunmow were called to the incident at 9.53am and used small tools to clear up the chemical by 11.15am.
The chemical is predominantly used in agriculture as a fertiliser but can be explosive in certain circumstances.
