JESSE Trayler is lying 12th in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship after the third round at Brands Hatch.

The Northern Escalators Installations Team rider from Great Dunmow was only able to qualify 22nd on his Kawasaki ZX-10R around the Indy Circuit at the Kent venue, but he soon made up places at the start of the 24-lap race.

Trayler got a flying start and made up four places off the grid and remained 18th until midway round lap two before passing Barry Teasdale then Tom Fisher to move into 16th place.

The Essex man continued to push hard and moved up to 14th place but could not cut the gap to those further in front and that was where he took the chequered flag.

Trayler will be in action again this weekend at Donington Park as part of the support package to the World Superbike Championship.
