A pre-school in Felsted has turned around its inadequate Ofsted rating, receiving a ‘good’ report during their latest inspection.
Felsted Little Acorns, which is based in Felsted Primary School, was found have poor safeguarding measures last year.
Although the latest report said the management has taken “prompt and effective action” to address the issues, and staff are committed to continuing to improve the outcomes for children.
It said: “The arrangements for safeguarding are effective. Their robust risk assessments and health and safety checks effectively promote children's safety.
“The well-qualified staff get to know children well through regular observations and accurate assessments of what they can do.
“Staff have high expectations of children's behaviour. They set clear, age-appropriate boundaries and gently remind children of these throughout the day.”
