A FAMILY are lighting up their new house this Christmas in a bid to raise hundreds of pounds for a military charity.
Rob Stafford, 32, and partner Julie Peacock, 37, moved into Coldnailhurst Avenue with children Mitchell, 17, Clarice, 11 and Kai, 8, six months ago.
Their amazing festive display includes a collection box for Help for Heroes.
Julie said: “We have done it for the last three years but we only moved here recently from Staines Road.
“It just grew and grew and grew, I don’t even know how many lights there are now.
“We wanted to collect for Help for Heroes so it just seemed like a brilliant way of raising money. Last year we raised a couple of hundred pounds but we were down a little cul-de-sac.
“Being more on a main road now we hope to get more.”
Bocking Primary School pupil Kai said: “Please help support Help for Heroes.”
