A VILLAGE post office will be given a makeover before re-opening with extended hours.
The Post Office, in High Street, Kelvedon, is set to close for up to seven days in February and March next year for refurbishment.
It will then be open on Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm and Sunday between 7am and 2pm.
Feedback on the plans can be given online by visiting postofficeviews.co.uk and entering the code for the branch 08711699.
The survey will close on December 30.
During the work, residents can visit Coggeshall Post Office in Market End, Coggeshall.
Witham MP Priti Patel said: “I welcome the investment planned for the Post Office in Kelvedon, which will help attract more customers and increase use of Post Office services.
“This announcement follows the Government-backed investment planned for Black Notley Post Office and I am pleased to see that branches in my constituency are set to have a bright future ahead of them.”
