A PUB is set to reopen under new management.
The Cherry Tree, in Cressing Road, Witham, has been boarded up while work takes place inside.
A spokesman for owner Punch Taverns said: “Following a change of tenant, the Cherry Tree has closed for a short period while essential health and safety works are carried out.
“We anticipate these works will take approximately two weeks, whereupon the Cherry Tree will reopen for trade. “
The spokesman added: “We apologise to customers for any inconvenience.”
