The wife of a man who suffered severe injuries in a car crash on the A120 has thanked those who supported them.
Joy Minogue, 67, was driving along the A120 near Coggeshall on Sunday, August 9, when she was forced to swerve her Hyundai i10 out of the path of an oncoming car.
Almost three weeks on her husband, Timothy Minogue, 70, is still unable to leave Broomfield Hospital due to his extensive injuries. Mr Minogue broke his hip, femur and three ribs and shattered his knee in the crash before contracting pneumonia in hospital.
Surgeons are unable to operate on Mr Minogue’s knee until he has recovered from some of his numerous other injuries.
