SCHOOL pupils helped out at primary schools, churches, parks and hospitals as part of a community volunteering day.
The annual Alec Hunter Academy event saw 156 Year Eight students and 20 staff head out into the community to assist council staff, Greenfields workers and others.
Pupils visited a number of schools, including Lyons Hall Primary, John Bunyan Infants, Great Bradfords Juniors, Great Bradfords Infants, St Michael’s Primary and St Peter’s Primary.
