A Braintree mum was a star for the day when she fronted a breast cancer campaign with Miranda actress, Patricia Hodge.
Marissa Hope, of Fresian Close, Braintree, was one of ten women chosen by the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust to take part in a fundraising video to promote personalised breast cancer treatment.
The mother-of-one, aged 41, suffered two breast cancer scares before being diagnosed with fibrocystic breast disease, which causes benign cysts in her breast tissue.
Five years on, she now features in the promotional video alongside breast cancer survivors and women who had lost relatives to the disease.
