A Braintree town has been shortlisted to 'twin' with the fictitious village of Sylvania from toy brand Sylvanian Families.
Coggeshall is one of the top ten idyllic places in the running to receive a sign reading "Twinned with Sylvania" along with an official twinning ceremony by some of the characters.
The shortlist was compiled after the toy company asked people to send in idyllic photos which reminded them of the picturesque village of Sylvania to celebrate the brand's 30th birthday.
Along with the sign and ceremony, St Peters Primary School, in Myneer Park, will receive 30 Sylvanian Families products, a year’s free membership to the Sylvanian Families Premium Fan Club for its pupils and £500 worth of toys to sell in aid of the school if Coggeshall wins.
To vote, visit the official Sylvanian Families Facebook page at woobox.com/cixsw4 before August 1.
The winner will be announced in September.
