A Braintree school is not making enough progress towards coming out of special measures, according to Ofsted.
Tabor Academy was placed into special measures in November following a daming report which criticised teaching standards and the leadership and management at the town’s biggest secondary school.
The latest inspection on June 9 and 10 has found that the school is not doing enough to improve.
However, the new operator of the school, Loxford School Trust, was praised, especially the work done to combat unacceptable behaviour.
