A dad who helped to raise nearly £2,000 for a charity that helps his son presented a cheque to organisers this week.
Police officer Aidan Kelly, of Bridport Way, Braintree, abseiled down the side of the 110ft Church Langley water tower to raise money for the Play and Resource Centre (Parc) in Great Notley Country Park.
Joining Mr Kelly on the abseil were Lauren Hannah, Clare Ince, Jasmine Massidda and Kirk Wells, who in total raised about £1,861.30 for Parc.
