Children's charity appeals to find more grannies to take part in motorbike ride
A charity is searching for more grannies to take part in a motorbike ride.
Brainwave Children’s Charity has organised the Goldwing Granny Motorbike Ride on May 31 but is still short of a few silver-haired thrill-seekers to ride pillion.
The event will see 35 to 40 bikes ride with their passengers from Chelmsford to Waldegraves Holiday Park in Mersea for lunch before making a return trip.
Brainwave, based in Newland Street, Witham, offers therapy to children with disabilities and additional needs to help them achieve their potential.
